Blessed Lent to all! 🙏
Lent Ask Fr LL
Sharing our first question on Lent for our 'Ask Fr Leonard on Lent'.
Question: Is Lent a sad or sombre time?
Listen to Fr Leonard explain how Lent is a time we rejoice that He died for our sins 🙏❤. And how this is our time of solemn preparation as we await to joyfully celebrate our Baptismal call and welcome those who will be baptised in to the faith. 🥰
Sharing our 2nd Question answered through our 'Ask Fr Leonard about Lent'. ❤
What is the meaning of the word Lent? Listen to Fr Leonard explain, but more importantly to what Fr has to say on Lent being a time of our own "spring cleaning" for us to purify our intentions so we may all be englightened by the Word of God. 🙏
Continuing with Question no 3 in our 'Ask Fr Leonard about Lent.'
Do we fast or abstain on Sundays? Fr explains it clearly that it's all up to us. The Church doesn't compel us, as long as we maintain the Spirit of Lent throughout. More importantly, Fr Leonard tells us to fast so we can feast on on the Word of God! Fasting to feasting!

NOTES FROM OUR PARISHIONERS

This church is the first Church in Petaling Jaya and it is the place of worship, from day one we had God's gifted Priest to lead the Parish. And till this moment it is my Parish.

- Stanislaus

This lovely church has always been there for me and vice versa! From births, baptisms, first holy communion, weddings and deaths of family members. Her priests are so charismatic who have taught me many a good lesson.

- Charlotte

It's been my spiritual home for the bulk of my 61 years. If you're looking for a loving Christian community to be a part of, come and see.

- Bernardine

The church gives you a blessed and welcome feeling

- Audrey

I love this parish.
God bless you all abundantly.

- Kim
