Feast of the Presentation of the Lord

The Church celebrates the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord on Thursday 2 February, forty days after the birth of Jesus. This feast brings to a close the Christmas festival of light. Candles will be blessed at the beginning of mass at 6.30am and 6.30pm. The blessing of candles remind us that Christ is the light of the nations, and the glory of His people.
