INFANT BAPTISM

Paragraph 3.5 of the latest Chancery Notice regarding the Sacraments of Initiation, states: “Baptism of children may resume but guests are to be restricted to immediate family members and sponsors. Group baptisms should be limited to a maximum of 2 families.”

We note that requests for infant baptisms has built up over the last few months and we are now open for applications.
Parents and Godparents also need to register for a pre-baptism course. Infant Baptism isn’t only about the child, many do not realise the family’s environment is crucial, because parents are the Primary Catechists to their children. What THEY pass on to their children has an important bearing on the child’s faith life.
